Stephen Karem, MD

Dr. Stephen Karem was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky in a large family with five siblings and hard-working parents that instilled a strong work ethic and dedication to helping others. He remains proud of his strong family values.
Dr. Karem graduated from the University of Louisville in 1986, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with High Honors. He completed medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1991, graduating in the top 10% of his class, gaining membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Karem completed his Family Practice residency at Trover Clinic in Madisonville, Kentucky in 1994. He then went on to further his training by completing another year of Internal Medicine at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati in 1995.
Following his training, Dr. Karem worked in a group practice in Southern Indiana for 26 years. He has vast experience caring for thousands of patients with multiple complex medical illnesses in both hospital and outpatient environments. His practice thrived, caring for several generations of family members over the years.
Dr. Karem decided on a career change as the atmosphere of medicine changed recently. He is now practicing concierge medicine in Naples, FL. Quality of care and time spent with patients have always been a priority in his practice. He decided the Concierge model of practice was a better fit to allow patients better access to quality, experienced care. He moved to Naples in 2021 and joined Dr Jeff Craig in practice. He remains board-certified in Family Practice and is still accepting new patients. He is a member of both the Collier County Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association. Dr. Karem firmly believes that a healthy physician-patient relationship leads to better quality care and a healthier patient.

Jeffrey L. Craig, MD
Dr. Jeffrey Craig is originally from Louisville, KY. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Eastern Kentucky University in 1987. He graduated from The University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1991 and then completed an Internal Medicine Residency at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.
He practiced traditional Internal Medicine from 1994 to 2008 when he became one of the first Concierge Physicians in Cincinnati and The Midwest. While in Cincinnati, he was Chief of Medicine at The Christ Hospital and also served as Chairman of The Peer Review Committee, Chairman of the Continuing Medical Education Committee, and Chairman of The Performance Improvement Committee.
He also served as the Team Physician for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1995 to 2010 and was involved in clinical research trials for new cardiovascular medications with Sterling Research. He was named Top Doctor by Cincinnati Magazine from 2010 to 2015.
In 2015, his wife Joy and he decided to chase their dreams and move to Naples! During his first 3years in Naples, he was part of the Concierge division of the NCH Physician Group before opening Old Naples Concierge Medicine in 2019 where he continues to serve as President. Having been a pioneer in Concierge Medicine, Doctor Craig is committed to this comprehensive and personal model of health care.
He has been named one of the Top Doctors in Naples, by Naples Illustrated annually since 2019. He has also been an Affiliate for the American Health Council since 2017.
He remains on the Medical Staff at NCH where he has been active in strategic planning and recruitment. He is an active member of the Collier County Medical Society, Florida Medical Association, and American College of Physicians. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
